Mifos Mobile is built on top of the MifosX self-service platform for end-user customers — the data and actions available are a subset of what institution staff can see, scoped to the customer's own accounts and loans. It's now moving onto Kotlin Multiplatform + Compose Multiplatform, extending it beyond Android to iOS, Desktop, and Web.
Customers need self-service, not a staff tool
Mifos X's staff-facing back office isn't built for customers. Mifos Mobile gives account holders a scoped, customer-safe view of their own accounts and loans — without exposing staff-level data or actions.
